"No, we're engaged to be married, but I have to wait to go home before we can make it official," he smiles wistfully. He had genuinely wanted to get married before, but he had hoped that the money from this would help give Mina a nice honeymoon. She deserved it.

He perks up noticably at the mention of a bath. Gosh, after being trapped out in the cold weather all night, a bath sounded wonderful right about now.

Oh, thank you! I fear that water had gotten into my suitcase, so the robe would be lovely, as well as a warm bath,"

He steps into the room, and there is a vague feeling of uncertainty that comes over him. The ominous nature of the place is not lost in him, but he quickly shrugs it off as he places his suitcase on a nearby chair. It was still shelter with a gracious host, and it felt rude to complain about the aesthetics.

"I'm sure I can make myself home here. Your hospitality is more than enough," He smiles genuinely at Alfred, before faltering a little at getting some hunger pangs "I think I'll draw myself a bath now, but I was curious if we could perhaps share a meal, if it's not too late,"

He frowns a little looking outside. The storm was intense outside so it was hard to gauge the time of day, but he was almost positive it was well past dinnertime. Maybe it was rude to ask for food so late, but he hadn't eaten since lunch and the idea of waiting until morning to eat felt dreadful.
